IIFP offers membership for individual and corporate bodies. The Institute believes that members of the Institute will share and promote understanding of the values concerned with just and fair dealings in economics, finance and business practices.
IIFP is the only reputable Islamic Finance professional body in Nigeria. The Institute has the mandate to educate the public and private sector about the expanding speciality practised by many thousands of finance and non-financial professionals, who believe that the Shari’ah rules can provide a framework they can admit as Ethical, Moral and Professional Code of Conduct in their personal and profession dealings.
Members of IIFP represent the Institute as a whole, and the IIFP Governing Council expects that member’s conducts should be that which will not bring any disrepute to the Institute. To promote ethical and professional conduct; IIFP members are in particular expected to conduct themselves in agreement with the minimum standards and code of conduct established by the Institute. Also, ensure they uphold such a moral code that provide assurance of the acceptance of a moral obligation to deal with others justly in their personal and professional life. All membership applications are to be presented to the Governing Council of the Institute for approval and subsequent admission. Upon admission as a member of the IIFP, the Institute through the Registrar will notify the new member of his/her application reference code and details of membership induction.
The Institute membership years runs from the month of January to December annually as such IIFP expects that each member will keep his/her membership status up to date by making sure that subscription fee is paid together with developmental level approved by the Governing Council.

How to Apply
Interested applicants should download an application form from the Institute website. Completed application form should be returned together with evidence of payment into the Institute.
